La Canosa lies at Rotella, in the Piceno hills between the Sibillini mountains and the Adriatic sea, farming some 50 hectares there and in the Castelli di Jesi district. Its range centres on native Marche varieties: Pecorino, Passerina, Verdicchio, Montepulciano and Sangiovese.
